“Nothing Inside”

All that you are is light

I’m surrounded by darkness

Don’t you see this isn’t right?

I’m just an abundance of emptiness

I want to say love me

But even your love can’t be my savior

There’s no hope to ever break free

You can never see this behavior

I’m broken

Look into my eyes and you’ll see

With you I thought I was awoken

But I’m still fast asleep baby

There’s nothing inside

I’ve been living a lie

I don’t know what else to hide

All I can do now is cry

Hope for your one last touch,

For I’m truly numb

Oh I miss you so much

But this pain, I shall never succumb …
